Requirements to become a foster parent
You must meet minimum requirements to provide foster care for children in Colorado. Foster parents for children and families must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Maintain sufficient income to support a family
- Have physical and mental capability to care for children and youth
- Pass a child abuse background and criminal background check
- Work with a treatment team and undergo future training
- Complete a Home Study
Prospective foster families can contact a Colorado child placement agency or your local Department of Human Services. Social workers in these child welfare agencies will provide information about Colorado's child welfare system, foster care, and the adoption process.
Social workers recommended that other adults and children in your home agree to provide long-term home care, too. If everyone is ready to welcome a new child, your local agency will help your home become an approved foster home.

Emily and Kay and Marie are ok but there part of a team that takes your money and leaves you without anything even a home and they rip off the state for extra money

I am a HHP been in this field with my individuals for more then 3years I have NEVER had a problem before! Samples is a company who DOES not take there clients in to consideration. Samples have so many wrongs that they have done that since I have voiced up my concerns about certain staff and management they are giving me notice. Very very poor management they have no sympathy no empathy for their clients! I have never dealt with heartless cold people before in my life. I would never suggest this company to anybody, they are solely in it in my opinion for the money nothing else. I would think that they would do what’s in the best interest for there clients. If I had to get help with child I would never consider this agency. They care more about there reputation then anything else in my opinion!

This place has poor management...staff needs more training on how to be good to their clients. I always see them just at target or looking bored at the park when other agencies are taking them bowling or helping out with donations making them feel good but no not Sample support 🤔
