Catholic Family Services
It is the mission of Catholic Family Services to provide the highest quality of counseling, psychiatry, and child welfare services to all people in the State of Alabama . Catholic Family Services is a private, nonprofit, family service and child welfare agency.
We can trace our roots back to 1903 when the Daughters of Charity established an orphanage in the East Lake Community of Birmingham. From that orphanage, we have evolved into a multi-service agency that is very much part of the professional clinical communities in Birmingham and Huntsville.
We pride ourselves that we serve people of all faiths and no one is ever refused services due to inability to pay our fees.

I went there a couple of years ago for spiritual needs only to discover that my counselor wasn't catholic. She couldn't relate. Disappointed.
