Jewish Family Service
For more than a century, Jewish Family Service of Omaha has provided crucial aid and support to the community. Our mission as a human service agency is to strengthen and preserve life in the Jewish community and the community at large through every stage of the life cycle. Jewish Family Service provides essential services to the Jewish community and the Omaha community at large. Despite the challenges presented by working remotely for over a year due to COVID-19, JFS was able to not only continue to serve its clients, but also to expand its services to increase its mental health outreach. JFS was also at the forefront in providing crucial financial assistance to those in our community adversely affected by the pandemic. The support and respect from our community was evident in the record breaking 2021 Friends Campaign, with over $42,000 raised to further the high-quality services JFS can provide today and in the future. JFS remains well-positioned to serve those in the community who are most in need.

Took me in and filed all necessary paperwork for not only aid in living; but in the JCC facility. Trips to Israel are even offered to those who qualify.

This wonderful place has been a life saver for me. The staff goes out of there way to help you and if they can't right then they will. You're not forgotten. I don't know what I would have done if they weren't there. Groceries, furniture, gas cards and baskets for all the Jewish holidays. All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart.
